The championship match of the Cicero Cup took place on Monday May 25, at Cowdray Park Polo Club, set in Midhurst, West Sussex, England. The tournament, hosted by the historical club and that kicked off on Tuesday May 12, saw six teams up to 15 goals, compete.
La Hechicera and White Crane Black reached the final, after their respective wins in semifinals against Las Brisas and Ferne Park. Both lineups played a very intense, tough contest, that saw both teams in a hard fought battle thoroghout the six chukkas of play. With the scores were leveled by regulation time, the match went into an extra chukka; that was when La Hechicera produced the winning goal to secure the 8-7 win and the title.
