La Dolfina BP defeated El Overo Z7 UAE by an impressive 12 goals to 5 to claim the V Women’s Argentine Open on Palermo’s number two Ground on Saturday, December 11. The match took place prior to the 128th Argentine Open final. The V Women’s Argentine Open is the most important women’s polo tournament in the world. The competition is played in an open format, with no handicap limits.

Nina Clarkin was back in the saddle playing competitive polo in Argentina after a two year absence. Her team, La Dolfina BP, dominated the game from the start. Nina was a key player in the team, and helped the organisation regain the title for the first time since 2018. The English player worked perfectly with Candelaria Fernández Araujo, Mia Cambiaso, and Milagros Fernández Araujo.

The victory meant that the Cañuelas based foursome won the tournament for the third time.
