La Cañada beat Alegria 13-12 on Saturday to secure the final place in both the Hurlingham and Palermo Opens. Jared Zenni sealed the deal for the team after scoring the golden goal in extra chukker. Despite the triple tie between Alegría, Pilará EN, and La Cañada, the latter topped Zone. Alegria and La Cañada were tied on points, goal difference and goals scored, but La Cañada won the league thanks to the who beat who rule.
