While Park Place already took a win on Sunday, the second team within Andrey Borodin’s organisation did it on Monday May 9, as well. In their debut match at the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy, the first 22-goal tournament of the season in England and hosted by the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, Park Place Vaara  defeated Dubai 9-7, in a thrilling contest.

The game, which took place on Dubai’s grounds, was clearly split in two parts, one for each team apiece. The local lineup dominated the first half, but from the fourth chukka onwards it was Park Place Vaara who seized the reins, and earned an advantage, which eventually led them to the debut victory.

The 2022 edition of the Justerini & Brook Prince of Wales Trophy sees ten teams, up to 22 goals, compete for the title.
