Day two of the Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy took place on Thursday, May 5. Twelve Oaks and Vikings claimed victories against Cibao La Pampa/Chapaleufu and King Power, respectively. The opening tournament of the 22-goal season in England is hosted by the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club. 

In the first match of the day, at Black Bears, Twelve Oaks started the season on the right foot. They were 3-6 behind by half time, but they made an impressive comeback in the fourth chukka to beat Cibao La Pampa/Chapaleufu by 13 goals to 11. In the follow up match, at Billingbear, Vikings claimed a narrow OT win over King Power, thanks to a golden goal scored by Juan Martin Zubía from a spot penalty. Holly Butler subbed in for Top Srivaddhanaprabha in King Power.

The 2022 edition of the Justerini & Brook Prince of Wales Trophy sees ten teams, up to 22 goals, compete for the title.
