The 55th Jockey Club Open is underway. Eight teams between 27 and 31 goals are in competition, with seven of the nine 10-goalers taking part. Â
The quarterfinal between Ellerstina Pilot and Chapaleufú La H started on Friday but, due to inconveniences with the field, had to be suspended. Action resumed on Saturday at Ellerstina, where the Pieres secured the victory. The result means that Ellerstina Pilot will face La Dolfina on Thursday in the tournament semifinals.
Also on Saturday, La Dolfina Valiente defeated Los Indios to qualify for the final, scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 21st.
