Beverly Polo claimed a narrow 11-10 win over La Fe to secure the 18-goal Iglehart Cup, the opening tournament of the 2022 season in Palm Beach. The tournament was hosted by the International Polo Club, in Wellington, Florida.

Beverly Polo took a 6-3 lead by half time, but La Fe managed to make an impressive comeback, taking an 8-7 advantage with only one chukka left to play. Beverly Polo were able to re-take the lead, however, thanks to penalty conversions by Tolito Fernández Ocampo. That was until Luis Escobar and Robi Bilbao scored a goal apiece to tie the match 10-all and send the game into OT. Lucas Díaz Alberdi came through for Beverly Polo, scoring the winning goal to seal the deal and secure the first title of the year.

Tolito Fernández Ocampo was named MVP; the BPP award went to Taita Milésima, ridden by Fran Elizalde.
