The IFZA Gold Cup, the most prestigious tournament played in Asia and the Middle East, continued on Tuesday, February 23, with two matches at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. The tournament sees eight teams, up to 18 goals, compete.

First, Abu Dhabi claimed a win against Zedan to top their league, before Dubai Wolves by CAFU claimed an impressive victory against UAE Polo to finish second in the league. HH Sheikha Maitha’s team secured third place.

These results mean that Abu Dhabi have qualified for the semifinals, while Dubai Wolves by CAFU and UAE Polo will face Habtoor and Bangash, respectively, in Friday’s quarterfinals. 

 

The IFZA Gold Cup finals are set for Friday, March 5.
