The North East Cup, opening tournament of the New York Polo Series, held its finals last Sunday at Bethpage Polo at the Park, the club located in Old Bethpage, New York.
The teams that earned their way to the final were White Birch and Huntsman. This last dominated the first half of the game with the score 5 – 1. In the 2nd half of the match there was no stopping for Huntsman as they tallied another 6 field goals. White Birch tried to fight back scoring 4 goals. The Huntsman team was victorious with the final score 11 – 5.
The next tournament of the NY Polo Sries is the Old Westbury cup.
