Dos Lunas La Hacienda defeated Marqués de Riscal by 12 goals to 10 to win the high goal Volvo Bronze Cup at Santa María Polo Club in Sotogrande. The win means that Dos Lunas ran out the first high goal champions of the 50th Anniversary Torneo Internacional de Polo by La Reserva Club de Sotogrande.

Both teams came out all guns blazing. Dos Lunas La Hacienda marked the difference and outscored Marqués de Riscal 4-1 in the second chukka, but their contenders managed to bounce back. They replied quickly, tying the game 4-all. From that moment, the match was extremely hard fought.

By sixth and final chukka, the game was tied 9-all. Guillermo Caset, the highest rated player on the field, converted a penalty to put Marqués de Riscal in the lead. But Dos Lunas La Hacienda, lead by Joaquín Pittaluga and Luis Domecq, scored three unanswered goals to secure the title for Dos Lunas La Hacienda.

The 50th Anniversary Torneo Internacional de Polo by La Reserva Club de Sotogrande sees twelve teams, split into two categories, compete. The high goal is for 18-20 goal teams, while the medium goal is for 12-14 goal teams.
