The much anticipated Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament kicked off on Tuesday September 1, in an event that marks a historic achievement for the city. The opening day showcased high level action with two remarkable games. The competition sees five teams up to 22 goals, partake.

Royal Johor, with HRH Crown Prince Ismail Ibrahim within the lineup, claimed a 11-7 victory over Temasek. HRH Crown Prince Ismail Ibrahim delivered an outstanding performance, by scoring five goals for his team, in a dreamy debut that marked a strong bond between polo and Johor Royal Family.

Up next, JCOPR clashed against Digital Bridge, in a very even contest that saw the former victorious 8-7. Gonzalito Pieres delivered an outstanding performance, becoming the team’s leading man.

With the aim to establish Johor as a new and competitive destination for high goal polo, the Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament will continue through a whole intense week, up to the championship match, due on Sunday September 6.
