On Saturday, April 9, Habtoor took a 8-4 win over Abu Dhabi to claim the Dubai Cup, the last tournament of the Dubai Gold Cup Series, the most prestigious series in Asia and the Middle East, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Habtoor, who already beat Abu Dhabi in the opening day of the tournament, lifted the trophy for the third time. Habtoor dominated their contenders right from the start, with a two-goal advantage in the first chukka, which they kept until half time. Although Abu Dhabi fought hard to make a comeback, Habtoor did a remarkable job in defense, retaining the lead and taking the win home.

The Subsidiary went to Hesketh, who narrowly defeated El Basha 6-5. The tournament saw four teams, up to 8 goals, compete.
