The world’s eyes may be set on the polo season in Argentina, but the 2021-2022 season in Dubai has kicked off at the magnificent Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.  The club is set to host one of the longest seasons to date, running from October 15, 2021, to April 29, 2022. The season reaches its apex with the two highest rated tournaments: the 18-goal Silver Cup and the 18-goal Gold Cup.

Action kicked off with the the Halloween Cup, which saw four teams, up to 6 goals, compete.

On Friday, November 5, Habtoor claimed the title after taking a 7-5 win over Hesketh. The Subsidiary went to Bin Drai, who defeated Mahra by 9 goals to 5.

Sandra Schneider was named MVP and Vendimia, ridden by Mohammed Al Habtoor, took BPP honors.

The season continues with the AHPRC Challenge (4-6 goals), which runs from November 13-19.
