The Hari Hotel Cup took place on Saturday at Klinwood Park, with four 8-goal teams in competition.

Thilo Sautter invited teams to play at his beautiful residence. The Hari Hotel London, owned by polo player Aron Harilela, presented wonderful prizes, such as a night at his hotel in Belgravia, London, to winners La Clarita.

But the final score was not central; the most important aspect of the tournament was that everybody enjoyed an amazing day of polo, topped off with a delicious asado.

Only one tournament is scheduled at the moment, but the aim is to organise more weekends like this one throughout the season.

Rules of the competition:
– 2-chukka matches.
– All games played off the stick, no handicap start.
– If the match is tied after 7 minutes in the second chukka, an extra 30 seconds will be played.
– If the match is still tied, then the team that scored the last goal of the match wins.
If the match ends with no goals, then a sudden death 30-yard penalty shootout will take place, with the lowest handicap player in each team shooting first.
