The British Open Gold Cup continued on Thursday at Cowdray Park Polo Club with two thrilling matches. It was certainly a day to remember for Park Place.

In the opening game, Park Place Vaara showed their power against Les Lions/Great Oaks. Not only did they win the match, but the final score showed a very impressive difference of 9 goals. Dillon Bacon’s team had already claimed two consecutive victories, but Park Place showed no mercy as they took a 16-7 victory.

Up next came a much-anticipated match: the first clash of the year between Facundo Pieres and Adolfo Cambiaso. When all seemed to be going Next Generation’s way, Andrey Borodin came through for his team, scoring to tie the match 9-all with only a few minutes remaining in the sixth. Borodin was able to seal the victory, claiming a 30-yard penalty for his team, which was scored to secure a 10-9 victory for Park Place.
