A new edition of the Gold Cup Series is set to begin on Friday, January 24, with the Silver Cup, a tournament which runs through to Friday, February 7  at Al Habtoor Polo Polo and Resort, in Dubai.

This is a very special year for the Gold Cup Series as it celebrate ten years of high goal polo in Dubai. Over the years, the Series has seen remarkable growth; it has become the most important polo event in Asia and the Middle East, as well as earning an important place within the international polo calendar.

The Silver Cup will see six 18-goal teams compete. The tournament will be played under the rules of the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA). Furthermore, the competition awards points for the World Polo Tour, within the  WPT Cup category.
