On Saturday July 26, Cowdray Park Polo Club, in Midhurst, West Sussex, will host the finals of two important ladies competitions: the British Ladies Open Championship, one of the most remarkable women’s tournaments of the British season, that sees six teams up to 16 goals, compete, in two leagues; and the British Ladies High Goal Championship for the Cowdray Rosebowl, that sees five teams up to 22 goals, compete.

 

It is worth noting that Clarinda Tjia Dharmani’s extremely successful Semper Anticus team will be playing both finals. In an extraordinary 2022 season in England, Semper Anticus will face Coomble Place in the championship match of the British Ladies Open Championship at 4,30. Previously, they will meet AM Polo CT in the final of the British Ladies High Goal Championship for the Cowdray Rosebowl, at 3pm.

Meanwhile, the final of the prestigious Indian Empire Shield, organised by Guards Polo Club, will be played on Saturday July 16. The tournament kicked off on June 30, and saw twelve teams up to 18 goals, compete. Team have been split into three leagues. Black Bears and Emlor Black are due to battle for the massive shield trophy at 10,30am, while Altamira K and Four Quarters Black will go for the Subsidiary at 12.30pm.
