The 26th. edition of the prestigious Hublot Polo Cup Gstaad, is due to kick off on Thursday August 17, at the Polo Club Gstaad, in Gstaad, Switzerland, sorrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps. It is worth to note that the club’s impeccable grounds are set in the Gstaad/Saanen airfield. The competition will see four teams up to 14 goals, in participation, and the official umpires will be England’s Oliver Ellis and Charles Seavill.

 

The lineups will be captained by one Swiss, two Germans and one French; one of the players who are due to compete are the talented Martin Aguerre Jr., winner of the Cámara de Diputados Cup, in Argentina as well as two times champion of the Open de France and the Coupe d’Or, in Deauville; he will be joined by Frankie Menéndez, Raúl Laplacette, Francisco Fucci, among others. Meanwhile, Sébastien Le Page, current reigning champion, will be leading Team Gstaad.

 

It is expected 5,000 spectators in attendance, who not only will be able to watch high class polo, but also they will have the opportunity to enjoy the facilities and a unique entourage. Polo Club Gstaad will welcome families and friends on free admission, exquisite catering and gastronomy provided by Gstaad Palace, access to the prestige village. Without doubts, Gstaad have everything set and ready to offer a unique event and an unforgettable experience.
