Roma Polo Club hosted a fantastic celebration to welcome both their womens and mens national teams, winners of the European Championship. While the men claimed their title in the tournament played in Sotogrande, the women lifted the trophy in Milano.  

In attendance were the President of the Italian Olympic Committee, Giovanni Malagò; Mario Pescante, member of the Olympic International Committee; Marco di Paola, President of the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports; Simone Ferillo, General Secretary of the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports; and the Sports Delegate of the Regione Lazio, Roberto Tavani. All of them presented a special plaque to the winners of both tournaments – Alice Coria, Ginevra Visconti, Therance Cusmano, Stefano Giansanti and Miguel Lagos Marmol.

CAMPIONATO ITALIANO DI POLO UNDERWAY

The 32nd Campionato Italiano di Polo, kicked off on Tuesday. Played since 1981, it is being hosted at Roma Polo Club for the sixth consecutive year. The tournament sees eight teams, up to 8 goals, compete.

The final is set to be played on Sunday, October 10, and will be streamed live on POLOLINE TV.
