The 126th Hurlingham Open, second leg of the Argentine Triple Crown, resumed on Saturday at the AAP in Pilar and the Hurlingham Club. La Albertina Abu Dhabi beat La Aguada, while Ellerstina defeated La Dolfina Polo Ranch. The victory gave the Pieres boys a place in the prestigious final; they will play for their fourth consecutive Hurlingham Open title.

Saturday’s match was particularly interesting for Ellerstina as they players experimented changing positions on the field. Facundo Pieres, previously at 4, played at 1; Gonzalo stayed at 2; Polito played at 3 for the first ever time for Ellerstina; while Nico played at 4, the position at which he played when he was made 10-goals in December 2016.

The final is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, on Palermo’s number one ground.
