Saturday’s rain meant that the semifinals of the East Coast Open were rescheduled for Sunday at Greenwich Polo Club, in Connecticut. Aside from the season in Palm Beach, the ECO is the highest rated tournament in the US.

After claiming respective semifinal wins, Blackhound DE and White Birch will go head to head in the championship.

 

Semifinal 1: Black Hound DE 13-11 Gardenvale

  • BLACK HOUND DE: Will Tomita 0, Lucas Diaz Alberdi 6, Torito Ruiz 7, Matias Magrini 7.
  • GARDENVALE: Shane Finemore 0, Felipe Viana 6, Pedro Falabella 6, Magoo Laprida 8.

 

Semifinal 2: White Birch 12-10 Altaris 

  • WHITE BIRCH: Chris Brant 0, Peke Gonzalez 6, Pablito Llorente 6, Mariano Aguerre 8.
  • ALTARIS: Jamal Nusseibeh 0, Joaquin Panelo 6, Lerin Zubiaurre 8, Kris Kampsen 6.
  • MVP: Lerín Zubiaurre. 
  • BPP: Ramona, played by Peke González.

Black Hound DE and White Birch will fight for the title on Tuesday, September 15, at 4,30pm.
