Dubai and Dos Lunas La Hacienda played a remarkable final, an indeed nailbiting contest, that was only decided in the last minute within the sixth chukka when Camilo Castagnola, the most outstanding player of the day, produced the winning goal in the goalposts set right by winners’ ponlylines to seal the deal and celebrate inmediatly with all their people the hard fought 11-10 victory. On their comeback to Sotogrande, Dubai, claimed the second stage of the 51st International Polo Tournament Sotogrande. It is worth noting that Dos Lunas La Hacienda presented an effective system of play thoroghout the whole tournament, and were very close to lift the trophy.

 

Meanwhile, Cotton House managed to earn a 13-8 win over the undefeated Aguilas, and claimed the Low Goal tournament. This was the second consecutive title for the winners, who had already taken the Volvo Bronze Cup just a couple of weeks ago. The Blackhound Cup went to Santa Quiteria, after defeating El Milagro.
