The Dubai Silver Cup, the first stage of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, the most renowned series of polo tournaments in Asia and the Middle East, commenced on Saturday January 21, at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is worth noting that the most significant change this year is that both the Silver Cup and the Gold Cup have been raised to 20 goals. 

 

The final of the Dubai Silver Cup is due on Saturday February 4.  

 

The opening day saw regining champions, Habtoor and UAE Polo victorious over AM Polo and Dubai Wolves by CAFU, respectively.
