After playing three qualifying matches in the King Power Gold Cup, the teams with the most victories secured their place in the quarterfinals. These include El Remanso and Park Place – both teams are yet to lose a match – and La Bamba de Areco and Valiente, teams that secured  two wins out of three.
Five teams (Alfi Investments, La Indiana, Monterosso, RH Polo and Talandracas) battled it out in a penalty shootout on Thursday morning to determine which four teams would continue in the tournament. The results of the penalty shootout gave Alfi Investments, La Indiana, RH Polo and Talandracas a place in the quarterfinals.
The order of play for the quarterfinals is as follows:
Saturday:
12pm: Park Place vs RH Polo
3pm: El Remanso vs ALFI Investments
Sunday:
12pm: La Bamba de Areco vs Talandracas
3pm: Valiente vs La Indiana.
The final of the King Power Gold Cup is scheduled for Sunday, July 22nd.
