Don Tancredi defeated Amanara 9-6, and claimed the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s Centenary Trophy, following the final that took place at Guards Polo Club, set in Windsor Great Park, England, on Sunday May 10. The competitive tournament, that commenced on April 26, saw eleven teams up to 15 goals, in participation.

Hazel Jackson was named MVP and the blanket to the BPP went to Pan Casero Porteña, ridden by Teo Lacau.

Meanwhile, La Hechicera ran out the champions of the Subsidiary, after a close 6-5 win over Tempest.

The tournament is a tribute to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth, better known as the Queen Mother  (1900-2002), the wife of His Late Majesty King Rey George VI (1895-1952), who were the parents of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). An aristocratic Scottish, Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, married the then Duke of York, in 1923, and turned 1oo in 20oo. As a tribute to the significant milestone, Guards Polo Club hosted a tournament in her honour.
