The CV Whitney Cup, the first leg of The Gauntlet of Polo, continued on Saturday, February 27, with two matches at International Polo Club Palm Beach. The tournament sees nine teams, up to 22 goals, compete.

 

In the day’s opener, Coca Cola beat Santa Clara 13-10, led by a spectacular Nico Pieres who found the flags eight times, including three unanswered goals in the last chukka to seal the win. Up next, Park Place, with Juan Britos back on the saddle after an injury, had no trouble at all to defeat Cessna by a 10-6 score.

 

The CV Whitney Cup final is scheduled for Sunday, March 7.
