Cibao La Pampa and Nairobi emerged victorious after winning their respective matches in the San Enrique de Guadiaro Cup on Saturday, May 22. Cibao La Pampa beat John Smith 3-2, while Nairobi defeated Rhone Hill 11-10.
The tournament is underway at Ayala Polo Club. This new era for polo in Sotogrande sees Ayala as the main host of the action, supported by Minuto Siete, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage Club, and Santa MarÃa Polo Club.
This season promises to be a memorable one, running through to the end of August, the month when the high goal returns to Sotogrande.
The San Enrique de Guadiaro Cup sees four teams, between 6 and 8 goals, compete.
