Calatagan and La Capilla clashed in the final of the low goal Terralpa Silver Cup, at Ayala Polo Club, in Sotogrande. Both teams arrived to the decisive match with a 3-1 record, with La Capilla victorious 9.5-8 over Calatagan, in the league phase. However, the final would see the rematch for the latter.
Despite it was a quite close contest, Calatagan managed to remain in the lead thoroghout the six chukkas of play. By the time they stepped in to play the last chukka, the Romualdez’s family foursome had a two-goal advantage, which they widened in that last episode, led by a remarkable Ciro Urturi, who produced a total of five goals. At the end of the day, Calatagan won 12-8, and retained the title for the second consecutive year.
