Brunei made a spectacular comeback to defeat Ayala 13-9 and ran out the champions of the medium goal Electrolit Gold Cup, following the final that took place on Los Pinos ground 4, in Sotogrande, on Friday August 25. The first half belonged to Ayala, while Brunei managed to take off in the second part. Despite remarkable performances by Benjamin Panelo and Pablo MacDonough, who produced 7 and 9 goals, respectively, it is worth to note that Brunei’s team play was crucial in the two last chukkas.

Prior to the main final, John Smith defeated ATL Marine & Energy and won the Turkish Airlines Cup, presented by Numan Cizmecioglu, Turkish Airlines General Manager.

Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros, Electrolit representative in Spain, presented the trophy to the champions of the Gold Cup.

Low goal and high goal finals are due on Saturday August 26. Both games will take place at Los Pinos.
