The historic Barriere Deauville Polo Cup will come to an end on Sunday August 28, with the much anticipated final of the Coupe d’Or, the flagship tournament of the series, that will see an all-French contest, that indeed guarantees great polo at Deauville International Polo Club, as two of the most powerful organisations in French polo will go head-to-head for the coveted golden trophy – the undefeated Jean-Francois Decaux’s Brittany and Edouard Carmignac’s Talandracas, who only lost one match thoroghout the competition, precisely against Brittany on August 11.

So, this final, due at 5,30pm, will have some extra spice – whether Brittany will have the opportunity to end the Coupe d’Or unbeaten, whether Talandracas will bounce back and have their rematch from the previous loss.
