Saturday will be very busy for polo in England as many important tournaments will be coming to an end. The highlight of the weekend will be the Gold Cup final, played at Cowdray Park on Sunday, but Saturday will also boast great polo, both at Cowdray and Guards, with the finals of the British Ladies Open Championship and the Indian Empire Shield.
The day will also mark a special occasion for UAE Polo, and more precisely for Sheikha Maitha, because she will have the chance to play and win two of the most important competitions in English polo. It’s worth remembering that this has been an unforgettable year for the organisation so far, having won the Royal Windsor a few weeks ago, and the Dubai Gold Cup Series at the beginning of the year.
