Following the end of the polo season in England after the final of the the St. Regis Cowdray Gold Cup that saw Gaston victorious, the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) revealed the 15-22 goal handicap changes on Wednesday July 22. The changes will become effective on January 1, 2027.

 

The most significant raise went to Bartolome Castagnola Jr.’s, runner up with Dubai at Cowdray Park, who became the brand new 10-goaler in the UK.

 

Other players who were raised are the skilled Lorenzo Chavanne (8 to 9); Cruz Heguy, Antonio Heguy, Gonzalo Ferrari, Teo Lacau and Beltrán Lahulé (7 to 8); Miguel Novillo Astrada Jr. (4 to 5); Hazel Jackson, Milly Hine and Catalina Lavinia (2 to 3).

 

With regards to the lows, Polito Pieres’ and Juan Martin Nero’s are the most important ones – from 10 to 9 and 9 to 8, respectively.
