Ankora defeated Planernaya by a 7-7.5 score and claimed the AHPRC League, the first tournament of the year at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai, United Arab Emnirates. The tournament saw four teams between 4-6 goals, compete, and after a whole week of competition, came to an end on Sunday, prior to the kickoff of the 18-goal Silver Cup, on Saturday January 22.

With regards to the championship match, Ankora dominated the first chukka, and despite Planernaya efforts to get into the game, Ankora’s detemination led them to hold in the lead, and emerged victorious.
Osama Esmat, from Al Habtoor Polo Resort Hotel, presented the trophies, including the MVP Award to Khalid Alomran.
Meanwhile, the subsidiary final had to be cancelled due to rains.
