Nicky Sen’s Amanara defeated White Crane Black by an impressive 10-5.5 and claimed the Duke of Sutherland Cup, one of the most important tournaments of the season in England. The final took place at Cowdray Park Polo Club, in Midhurst, West Sussex, on Sunday June 7.
Led by the rising star, Lorenzo Chavanne, who played with his father, Santiago, Amanara managed to earn significant differences that led them to win it fair and square against Jasmine Calvert-Ansari’s lineup, who received 0,5 goal on handicap.
In the meantime, the Subsidiary Tatham Cup went to Emlor, after a tight 9-8 victory over Las Brisas. It’s worth to note that Spencer McCarthy’s team already clashed against Las Brisas, on June 3, during the league phase, and were victorious 9-6.
The Duke Of Sutherland Cup saw six teams up to 18 goals, in participation.
