A red hot Open de France resumed on Friday at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly. The prestigious competition that’s celebrating its 20th. edition, is one of this year’s most vibrant and exciting polo tournaments, due to the large number of teams and stars of the sport in competition, both from France and abroad.

A solid performance provided by Sainte Mesme led them to their first win against Majoa Paris. Robert Strom was the lineup’s crucial player, top scorer – he produced five goals – and ended up as the MVP. Up next, Talandracas and Amanara played one of the best games these grounds have ever seen in a long time. It was a fast paced game, a display of quick runs, great goals from both sides and ovewhelming performances. Following a very tight contest, Talandracas’ Francisco Elizalde sealed the deal in the last minutes of play.

Last but not least, it was the moment for clash of the undefeated, Les Lions Panarea and Marquard Media – two wins apiece. Les Lions Panarea displayed their usual dominance, despite Marquard Media was not an easy contender at all, and pushed them hard. Therefore, the win put the team that have Barto Castagnola as their leading man, much closer to the semifinals.
