Last Sunday, April 26, at the fields of Ayala Polo Club, located in Sotogrande, southern Spain, the final of the Iberian Polo Tour Spring edition took place. The eight-goal handicap tournament circuit made its final stop in the south with the Baron de Strabrock Cup. Six teams entered the competition in pursuit of the trophy.

The finalists were Adrenalina and Savoir, who finished first in their respective groups and earned the chance to compete for the tournament’s top honor. It was an evenly matched contest, featuring plenty of action in the first chukker with six goals, while the scoring gradually slowed down afterward. They entered the last chukker with a half-goal advantage in favor of Savoir (their opponent had started with a half-goal handicap advantage due to the difference in team handicap ratings). However, everything changed in that final period. Adrenalina managed to turn the game around and won the final 7.5 to 6, becoming champions of the Baron de Strabrock Cup.
