Following the three matchdates of the league stage and after having finished on top within the general standings on Wednesday March 6, Abu Dhabi and Ghantoot secured their spots in the championship match of the Ghantoot International Polo Championship. In the last classification games, Abu Dhabi defeated UAE, while Ghantoot lost to Habtoor. However, both Abu Dhabi and Ghantoot wrapped up the league stage with two wins and one defeat apiece, which led them to step into the final.
