La Natividad La Dolfina claimed their second consecutive win at the 61st. Jockey Club Open, and is the first lineup to earn a spot in the tournament’s semifinals. The second matchdate of the competition that preceeds the Triple Crown in Argentina was played on Thursday September 21, at the Jockey Club, in San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires.

The Cañuelas-based team were victorious over Las Monjitas – in their comeback to high goal polo in Argentina – by an impressive 15-11 score. Lolo Castagnola and Co. dominated the contest easily, and secured their place in semis.

Thursday saw another significant debut – Louis Devaileix’s La Fe, playing the Jockey Club Open for the first tima, although they lost to La Irenita 11-6.

The remaining semifinalists will be revealed on Saturday September 12, following another double matchdate – La Irenita vs. Las Monjitas and La Fe vs. Don Ercole. The semifinals of the Jockey Club Open will take place on Wednesday September 16.
