The Argentine Association of Polo organised an event at the Campo Argentino de Polo, in Palermo, to host the draw of the 2022 Argentine Triple Crown, composed of the 82nd Tortugas Open, the 129th Hurlingham Open, and the 129th Argentine Open. Players, media and special guests attended. The Triple Crown is due to start on Tuesday, September 27, with the Tortugas Open, and is due to conclude on Friday, December 2, with the much anticipated final of the Argentine Open, at Palermo. 

The most important issue of the draw was the league settings for the Argentine Open. As in 2021, Ellerstina and La Dolfina are placed within the same league, while title holders, La Natividad being the top seeded team in League A. They will be joined by La Irenita, La Ensenada RS Murus Sanctus, La Irenita G Squared and the League A winner of the Qualification Tournament. Meanwhile, joining Ellerstina and La Dolfina in League B are La Dolfina II, La Irenita Clinova, and the League B winner of the Qualification Tournament.

As was the case last year, the fixture for the Hurlingham Open will depend on the results of the Tortugas Open.

82nd TORTUGAS OPEN (September 27-October 8) 

LEAGUE A: La Natividad, La Dolfina, La Ensenada RS Murus Sanctus, La Irenita Clinova.

129th HURLINGHAM OPEN (October 11-29)  

LEAGUE A: Tortugas Open winner, Loser of the semifinal against the finalist of the Tortugas Open, Runner up Sarmiento Cup, Loser of the semifinal against the winner of the Sarmiento Cup.

LEAGUE B: Runner up Tortugas Open, Runner up semifinal against the winner of the Tortugas Open, Winner Sarmiento Cup, Runner up semifinal Sarmiento Cup.
