There are wins that are enjoyed and others that are new beginnings; and these applies to Pablo MacDonough, after La Irenita’s  victory at the 61st. Jockey Club Open Copa Eminent. In addition, it is also a significant personal achievement for him, as well – he claimed his fourth title in the tournament hosted by the club set in San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

But the win over Las Monjitas not only added another trophy to Pablo’s personal collection; it means a remarkable motivation for what’s coming up soon – the qualification tournament that will see Pablo and La Irenita competing to earn a spot to play the Tortugas Open and the Argentine Open, which is due to happen on Thursday September 24.

Following a very intense and hard fought final, Pablo spoke to PoloLine; among other issues, he remarked his feelings about such a special day, explained La Irenita’s road to the title and what was the key that led the team to emerge victorious. But, as things move quickly in the season, the conversation turned to the near future – MacDonough is anxious about this challenge and tells how is to get ready for the next step, within a season that lets only a little margin to rest.
