Currently, Bartolomé “Barto” Castagnola is indeed one of the most remarkable players. His skills and fierce discipline led him to be one of the few 10-goalers in the world. Barto, who is playing the St. Regis Cowdray Gold Cup, wearing the Dubai jersey, the same he wore in 2019 when he claimed the golden trophy, shares the lineup with two outstanding young guns –  Santos Merlos and Antonio Heguy.

 

On Saturday July 11, the Middle East-based organisation beat La Dolfina Marqués de Riscal, with Barto’s cousin, Poroto Cambiaso; therefore, Lolo Castagnola’s eldest son is back to the semifinals of the most important tournament in England after a three years absence.

 

Barto caught up with PoloLine, and he remarked the great level the team has demonstrated thoroghout the tournament, his happiness to be back in a semifinal; in addtion, he spoke about his horse string and the great deal of help he is receiving on the issue, as well as his expectations with regards to the upcoming season in Sotogrande.
