After three days of action, the historical AlUla Desert Polo event came to an end on Saturday. Organised by Amr Zedan, the Saudi Polo Federation (formed in July 2018), and the Royal Commission for AlUla, the tournament was the first official polo competition played in Saudi Arabia.

 

In the sporting terms, Amaala, composed of HSH Prince Carl von Oettingen-Wallerstein, George Spencer Churchill, and Argentine Nacho Figueras, who played instead of the injured Juan Martín Nero, claimed the title after beating AlUla Team, formed of HRH Prince Abbas bin Ali Bin Nayef, Mohammed Al Habtoor, and Adolfo Cambiaso in the final .
