The Seabreeze Baku Beach Polo once again brought together leading figures from the international polo scene in Azerbaijan, in a competition that combined sport, entertainment and a strong commitment to the development of the sport in the region. During the grand final, PoloLine.tv spoke with three key figures to take an inside look at everything this latest edition of the tournament had to offer.

First, Reto Gaudenzi, organizer of the Seabreeze Baku Beach Polo, reflected on the development of the tournament, its continued growth and the challenges involved in organizing an event of this scale. His perspective offers an insight into the present and, especially, the future of polo in Baku.

We also spoke with Elcin Jamalli, an Azerbaijani local player, tournament founder and promoter, who was also part of the championship-winning team. One of the leading figures in Azerbaijani polo, Jamalli shared his feelings after lifting the trophy and spoke about the importance of continuing to develop the sport in his country and positioning Baku on the international polo calendar.

Alongside him was Agustín Kronhaus, the Argentine player and Elcin’s right-hand man in the project, who also celebrated victory at the Seabreeze Baku Beach Polo. Kronhaus shared his thoughts following the win, discussed the growth of polo in Azerbaijan and explained what it is like to work alongside Jamalli in promoting the sport.
