Following a 17-12 win over Brunei, Jolly Roger captured the Terralpa Medium Goal Silver Cup, the second stage of the 51 International Polo Tournament Sotogrande, in the final that took place on Friday August 12, on Los Pinos number 3 ground. Therefore, the winning foursome took the Silver trophy home, with no less than four victories and only one defeat. 

 

The day got off to a start on Los Pinos ground 2, with a 5,30pm high goal match between Saninte Mesme and Easy/John Smith, to battle for the So/Sotogrande Cup, with the latter emerging victorious 11-10.

 

As usual, the awards presentation involved the players and significant personalities, such as Terralpa’s Ramón Hermosilla and Marcos Nuñez; and So/Sotogrande’s Gabriela Lopes, as well as Antonio Alés, Ayala CEO.

 

The last matchdate of the Terralpa Silver Cup is due on Saturday August 13 with the high goal and low goal finals and the championship match of the Blackhound Cup, the low goal subsidiary. All matches are due to be played on Los Pinos grounds.
