The Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series revealed that the Silver Cup and Gold Cup, two of the most prestigious tournaments in the Middle East, GCC and Africa, will be raised from 18-goals to 20-goals in 2023.

Mohammed Khalaf Al Habtoor, founder of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, as well as President of the UAE Polo Federation, is very proud of such an achievement. “The continued support of patrons, sponsors, and the hard work of our team is remarkable, not only within our organization but also in making Dubai a premium polo destination,” he says. ” In 2023 we will see the Silver Cup and Gold Cup (Dubai Open) played at 20 goals, which shows the steady growth of the sport in the area.”

The Gold Cup Series is under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The Series has been recognized by the World Polo Tour since 2012. The Dubai Polo Gold Cup series kicked off with the Gold Cup (Dubai Open) in 2009.
