United States defeated Argentina 16-14 and ran out the champions of the II FIP Arena Polo World Championship, following the final that was played on Sunday October 12, at Roseland Polo Club, Crozet, Virginia, United States. The prestigious event took place at Roseland Polo Club and Virginia Polo Inc, ome of the Virginia Polo University, in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The championship match was very balanced and very closed, with both teams exchanging the leadership; so close it was, that it was only decided in the last chukka. Therefore, United States is the second world champion in arena polo. France were victorious in 2023, in the first arena polo world championship, played at La Carona Polo Club, in Argentina
Previously, former title holders, France, beat Guatemala 26 13, and earned the bronze medal.
