The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, set at La Ferme de Apremont, in France, greeted the final of the Trophée Champlâtreux, between on Twist and Jindal. The decisive match took place on Sunday June 1, prior to the championship match of the Coupe Patrick Guerrand-Hermes and the start of the Nations Cup, with the latter kicking off within eleven days. The Trophée Champlâtreux saw seven teams up to six goals, in competition.
Following a hard fought match that was only decided in the last minutes of play, Twist claimed a very tight 7.5-7 and won the title. The trophy was presented by the Duke of Noailles, one of the founding members of the club alongside Patrick Guerrand-Hermes. Meanwhile, Los Siete and French Kiss tied their game for the subsidiary and shared the third place.
