Las Floreales and Sieben clashed in the final of the Trophée du Bois du Lieutenant, that took place on Sunday May 11, at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, at La Ferme de Apremont, in the outskirts of Paris, in France. The tournament saw six teams up to six goals, in competition.

Las Floreales dominated the contest, by widening their advantage chukka after chukka. By the end of the second chukka – half time – they were four goals ahead (6-2) as well as in the penultimate chukka (8-4). However, in the fourth and decisive chukka, Siben tried to make a comeback; and despite they outscored their contenders 4-2, the damage has already been done. Las Floreales retained their four goal gap and claimed the 10-6 win and the title.
