On Friday, October 15, prior to the final of the Tortugas Open, La Natividad defeated La Dolfina Brava (who received 3.5 goals on handicap) by 14 goals to 10.5 to win the Subsidiary Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Cup at Tortugas Country Club.

The match was fast paced and saw many field goals. By the end of the second chukka, La Natividad had outscored the advantage La Dolfina Brava had received on handicap. From then onwards, they took control of the match and dominated the scoreboard. Both teams played a great match, proving that they are in great shape to tackle the Hurlingham Open, which is due to start next week.

Sol de Agosto Caramelo, ridden by Poroto Cambiaso, was named Best Polo Argentino, presented by the Argentine Polo Pony Breeders Association.
