L Esperanza claimed an impressive 11-7 win over Jehangiri, and won their first ever Thai Polo Cup, following the final that took place on Friday November 28, at Thai Polo Club, in General Rodriguez. One of the most prestigious competitions of the season in Argentina, the Thai Polo Cup saw sixteen teams up to 14 goals, partake. It’s worth to notice that both teams reached the final undefeated.

 

La Esperanza earned a 2-1 advantage in the first chukka; but from the second chukka onwards, La Esperanza seized the reins, and took a commanding 6-1 lead. From then onwards, and although Jehangiri mde a slight comebck in the fourth chukka, La Esperanza took control of the game, and at the end of the day, they took home the Thai Polo Cup.
